This proposal was developed in Sydney on 16 June 2014.

The idea of a locally distributed biennial is to develop the kind of thematic focus and ambitious creative space offered by a biennale, but to privilege local experience rather than the international issues. While many biennales aspire to grand narratives of international relations, this event would articulate worlds at hand in everyday life.
